I never had such a great start of the new year
Hello all,
last week was simply awesome. I passed the exam for my drivers licence and on the same day I've found a new house. And believe me, finding a house in Holland is insanely difficult.

Passing for your DL in Holland is quite difficult. First you'll have to do a theory exam. Only then can you do the drivingexam. During the exam, you're not allowed to recieve any corrections from your judge (don't know the correct word in english) otherwise you'll fail the test. You'll have to drive for about 20 minutes where you'll go to the city center, highway, parking your car etc etc. Most ppl (including myself) don't pass the exam on their first try. The judges are very strict over here. I luckely passed on my second try. Furthermore it's awefully expensive. I payed about 2500 euro in total (appr. 2800 USD)

Sounds alot harder than the tests here in the U.S. I scraped the paint off a postal truck and I still managed to pass the license exam.
